The Boy Who Always Got Picked Last
Beatlesque power pop with quirky chord changes and clever lyrics. Mainly classic rock, but also incorporating elements of other styles (i.e. folk, grunge, hip-hop).
With his third CD, Frank progresses beyond Merseybeat and incorporates elements from other genres (folk, grunge, hip-hop). The focus has been sharpened (the disc clocks in at a lean 50:06), yet classic Marzano trademarks still remain (memorable melodies, hook-laden riffs, and clever lyrics). If you prefer three-chord country-folk songs, THE BOY WHO ALWAYS GOT PICKED LAST probably won't win you over, but if you like well-produced pop music with an emphasis on songwriting, this is an indispensable addition to your CD collection.
